Material Matters
Choosing the right type, style, and size upfront is what leads to impeccable rain gutter installation and functionality.

Gutters do a lot more for your home than you might think. The lack of rain gutters can cause washout issues which can lead to cracks or other damage to your subfloor, siding, surrounding concrete, or pavement structures. Plus, missing or improperly working gutters is close to the number one reason people experience water issues in their basements.
Gutters are meant to collect and direct water away from your home and without them your home can be vulnerable. At Rainman Seamless Rain Gutters our focus is on the protection of your home and investments. The most common place a sectional rain gutter system fails after years of wear is at the joints and seams, and using a seamless gutter will drastically reduce your chance of having future leaks.
Rainman Seamless Rain Gutters uses top materials and products to meet your gutter needs. In fact, we often install Hangtite™—a self-bracing hidden hanger that adds additional support to your gutters. These hidden hangers are placed at 2-foot intervals in aluminum gutters and 18” to 1-foot intervals in steel gutters.
There are a number of gutter type, style, and size options to choose from. Here’s a breakdown of what we offer:
- 5” Aluminum Gutter – This is the most common gutter used for residential homes.
- 5” Steel Gutter – Made from galvanized flat rock roll formed steel and, these rain gutters are 7 times stronger than aluminum. We typically recommend steel rain gutters on a metal or steep pitch roof, and heavy snow areas to add extra strength from the snow slide that can occur.
- 6” Steel Gutter – Also made from galvanized flat rock roll formed steel, the slightly larger size works best for larger distances between downspouts, commercial projects, and larger houses with ample roof surface area.
- 6” Steel ½ Round Gutter – This is the gutter ideal for homes with decorative open rafter tails and additional eve details. These gutters often require the addition of transition flashing due to the external hanging system mounting.
