Mission Possible
You most certainly can attach gutters to your metal roof!

There’s a little myth going around the homeowner world that insists you cannot place gutters to a roofline with metal roofing. We’re here to bust this myth!
For starters, homeowners are generally worried about the weight of gutters causing potential damage to the roofline. If this is you, you’re not alone! But this type of damage, and others, can be avoided. How? Installing the gutters to the wood rafter (beneath the metal roofing) and adding gutter brackets for support help keep metal from rubbing against metal, protecting both your roof and your gutters.
Second, spacing matters in gutter placement, especially when we’re adding gutters to a home with a metal roof. We recommend a solid 2-foot space between gutter brackets. We also recommend the use of long, deep thread screws to help bear the weight of the gutter when debris are flowing.
Lastly, believe it or not, any gutter system will work with a metal roof. The key to installing gutters on a metal roof is to mount them as high as possible with a proper slope for drainage.
Why should you install gutters on your roofline? Gutters help protect your home from water damage and allow you to send water to garden beds and other areas of greenery around your home. Plus, gutters have the potential to save you money and help protect the environment. Win-Win!
